When love meets tradition beneath a canopy of blooms, every moment turns into poetry.
A three-tier mandap as the ceremony’s focal point
For Ramya and Prashanth’s wedding, Wedding Chakra created a three-tier mandap design with flowers arranged across its layered structure. The tiers gave the ceremonial setting height and a distinct architectural outline.
Soft pastel tones were combined with brighter accents. Cascading jasmine garlands and marigold clusters added texture and warmth, connecting the floral details with the traditional character of the celebration.
Flowers, drapes and lighting together
The design considered the floral selection alongside lighting and drapery. This helped the mandap read as one composition, with the individual details supporting the ceremony space and family photographs.
Planning a layered floral mandap
Start with your ceremony requirements and venue dimensions. Discuss the space needed by the couple, family and officiant before deciding on the mandap’s proportions. Confirm the available height and the venue’s requirements for any overhead elements with the relevant teams.
Review how the garlands, flower clusters and lighting relate to the layered structure. A useful proposal should explain the main floral elements, backdrop, lighting responsibilities and installation arrangements, with the final scope agreed before the event.
