Love draped in red and gold shines forever, just like timeless traditions.
A reception design in red and gold
Lushvin and Preethaa’s reception decor brought deep red drapes together with gold-toned details, floral garlands and crystal chandeliers. Wedding Chakra used a Meher-inspired concept to connect the stage’s ornamental framing with the surrounding celebration setting.
Textured fabrics, patterned carpets and antique-inspired decorative pieces added layers to the composition. Ornamental plates and detailed panels brought a heritage reference into the rich red palette.
Framing the couple’s seating
The backdrop and floral arches framed the seating area, while chandeliers and lamps added warm light. These elements were considered together so the stage, flowers and surrounding details supported a consistent visual theme.
Floral cascades within an architectural setting
Crimson, blush and lavender flowers softened the ornamental backdrop. Greenery added freshness around the more structured panels and draped surfaces. Gold-toned candle stands and lamps contributed to the warm lighting of the setting.
Planning a layered reception backdrop
If you are considering a similar style, review the drape colour, backdrop materials, flower palette and lighting together. Discuss stage proportions and how the design will appear from guest seating as well as in close-up photographs. Confirm any venue requirements for lamps, candles and installation with the relevant teams.
