When love embraces heritage, beauty becomes eternal.
Chettinad-inspired design for a wedding celebration
For Jivana and Jayson’s wedding, Wedding Chakra drew on the architectural details and materials of Chettinad homes. Wooden carvings, lattice panels and brass vessels shaped a design rooted in Tamil heritage.
The setting combined saffron, maroon and gold with floral garlands and traditional motifs. These elements carried the theme through the backdrop and surrounding decorative details rather than treating the stage as an isolated feature.
Heritage textures and floral details
Carved surfaces gave the composition depth, while flowers softened the architectural framing. Brass lamps and gold-toned accents added warmth to the palette. The result connected heritage references with the visual details of this individual celebration.
Making a traditional theme personal
A heritage-inspired wedding can begin with the traditions, colours and materials that matter to the couple and their families. Discuss those references alongside the venue, ceremony layout and guest seating so the design responds to your celebration.
For a Chettinad-inspired concept, compare the proposed wood tones, lattice patterns, floral colours and lighting together. Consider which features should be focal points and where a lighter treatment would help balance the room.
